I have been highly enjoying instagram these days! It has been a fun and creative way to get to document the small things in my life that would usually get left unnoticed.

This past weekend one of Chad's best friends got married in the Bountiful Temple. The day was absolutely gorgeous, and the events were perfect. Chad was one of the Groomsmen so we stayed the ENTIRE time and it was well worth it because the dance party at the end was a blast! It was so fun to get to be with Chad's best friends {michael, jamsa, and josh...and the wives, ashley, emma, and the new bride katherine!} We had a day full of laughter, and a more optimistic outlook on life. Thank you to Josh and Katherine Poulter for your amazing example to us.

Play by Play

A few things to remember~

January: James and Paige were Married! It was the coldest and most windy day in the whole month, but it was INCREDIBLE! Their wedding was gorgeous, and it is so fun to have Paige officially in the Russell family now!

February: Chad and I got iPhones! I can honestly say it was an excellent move :)

Valentines Day was AMAZING! I was sneaky and got Chad gifts for the 4 days before the 14th that coordinated with the letters L-O-V-E.  Then I made him a candlelight dinner...my first time ever! And it was an incredible success! We had chicken cordon bleu, He was so surprised :) Chad got me beautiful flowers and some very nice gifts.  It was a great year!

March: Rex had his Birthday

Matt (my bro in law) ran for Mr. Spanish Fork and Won Mr. Spirit! He was hilarious!

My sister Brooke got her MISSION CALL!!!!! She will be serving in Chicago Illinois, Spanish Speaking!! She leaves July 11th.  I am so happy for her, and I am happy she will be leaving AFTER my birthday :)

Chad's cousin Katie Stoutsenberger passed away unexpectedly.  It was a rough few weeks, but we have felt great peace and love from Heavenly Father and from family and friends. Her funeral service was amazing, even though it was hard and I ended the day with a massive crying headache.  

            We took an AMAZING trip to DISNEY LAND!! ( a post about that to come :) ) 

April: My family left for Hawaii....Sad day. Sometimes it is hard to be the oldest child....school and work are just too important to leave for Spring Break...although I shouldn't complain because we already enjoyed our spring break in the happiest place on earth.

Easter Weekend was So fun...a post about that in the future..

Ok I think I am all caught up! Whew!! 

I shouldn't take such long breaks from blogging.....its official. 

I wanna go back...

Rex turns 1

We didn't really do much for Rex's Birthday. I bought a silly hat and 2 cupcakes for Chad and I to enjoy while Rex devoured a hot dog.  It was a fun day to remember all of our memories of the first year of his life.  Here are a few pics of his past year.
****Note: when we got him he weighed 2 lbs. he now weighs in at a whopping 20 lbs! ENJOY!

Getting back to blogging....

HELLO!!!!!! Nice to see you again! Sorry I have been absent for another 2 1/2 months.  I am back now. Spring has sprung and the sun is shining and I feel motivated to be a dedicated blogger again.  Instead of writing the largest post of all time I think I will break it up.  But first, I will give you the short summary of our life.  We are LOVING being back here in Orem.  Chad still loves his job @ Namify and is doing well in school. I still LOVE working for my parents @ Grandview Family Medicine.  We really like our ward, and the fact that we are so close to family.  Life is great...and SO busy :).  Rex has come and gone through a rough patch, but is doing so much better since we chopped his little meat balls off 3 weeks ago :) haha chad would kill me if he knew I called Rex's parts "meat balls" :) His temper is calming and he has been so cute and cuddly again. He had is 1 yr old birthday and is the love of our lives...most of the time.  Ok well that is my intro post....I will continue to post exciting highlights and updates as I get my pictures organized!

i just don't feel like it

I realize I haven't blogged in a long while.  I know that it's been over a month....I just don't feel like blogging. I think part of it is because we lost our $300 camera.  I still haven't looked very deeply for it because I still  have hope that it is somewhere close, I am just not prepared to be disappointed.

Our Christmas and New Years were incredibly fabulous.  We got A LOT of really nice things from our families.  Such as: a Bosch, clothes, gloves, Russell family cookbook ( i have begged for this since we got married!), a huge tupperware set, the Help movie, a curling iron, some books, a portable power station, an all expense trip to Disneyland, and a butt load of stuff for our little Rexie boy!!!!! We are SOO spoiled.  Our trip is planned for March :) We cannot even wait!!!!

We have loved our new place here in Orem, even though its old.... Its homey and we love our new ward and how close we are to everything!!! My job has been so great! Its awesome to be back at GFM.  I love working for my parents.  Chad started his new job at Namify as a Branding Expert.  He has absolutely loved his first week and made it into the top 3 of the company already!!! He has loved his classes at UVU, and finally feels like thats where he fits :) Hallelujah!!

 Overall life is so happy and great for us!! We feel blessed to be back home, and look forward to our best year yet!!!! One of my favorite holidays is coming up!! I can't wait for Valentines day :) Now with pinterest, I have an overload of creative ideas! I probably won't do much, but I like to think that I am a creative machine!! We will see. Hopefully I won't wait another month to post...but you never know, because I just don't really feel like it. :)
